We got to experience the Monster Hunter Meat Shack, arranged by Capcom to coincide with launch of the new Monster Hunter game (#MonsterHunterBBQ).
We were fortunate enough to grab tickets in the final wave (they were really super popular). Arriving at Flat Iron Square, we were immediately in awe of the massive meat spit/BBQ grill cooking that was cooking outside.
When entering the shack (quite a big shack) you enter the Monster Hunter world, with the inside decorated to immerse you in the Monster Hunter forest with weapons, maps, and a bar.
There were around 8 TV screens set up with tables, plates and chairs allowing guests to feat on a meat platter or burgers while playing demo of the new game. Each TV was connected to a PlayStation controller (only 1 though) and the helpful warriors took our orders and brought the meat platter straight to the table, while we started playing.
A great way to spend the evening relaxing in the shack and enjoying the new game and the grub!
